What can I say?
I’ve read your comments. I’ve seen the messages on Twitter and YouTube and this newsletter. I’ve listened to Harry repeatedly telling me that doing anything other than writing is the way of the future and d’you know what? I think he’s right, and more importantly, I want to give all of you, my faithful followers and the wonderful consumers of my content more of what you’re looking for each and every day, so here we are: 10 Things I Like at UFC 278, the audio edition.
The video edition is up on the YouTube channel if you want to see me gesture wildly with my hands, take a sip of coffee from my ridiculously large mug, and count on my fingers which of the 10 things I’m talking about next.
And for the record: this doesn’t mean I’m moving away from writing entirely.
I will still write Fighter to Watch each week, still write my recaps each week, and will surely put out other pieces of written content routinely in this space, but as I said earlier — I want to create content that people want to consume and deliver it in a method that they prefer, even if that means stepping out of my comfort zone and shifting gears after a dozen years of putting fingers to keys.
So 10 Things is joining One Question and The Next Day Takeaways as dual-format series that will live here and on the YouTube page, and that you’re going to be hearing even more of my gravelly voice and seeing more of my bearded face in the weeks and months to come.
Enjoy… and get hyped — UFC 278 should be all kinds of fun!
