If you knew anything about the men and women stepping into the Octagon this past weekend, and the energy that would fill Rogers Arena after four years without a UFC event in town, you knew that UFC 289 was going to be a fun, entertaining night of action this past Saturday.
But between dismissing the event ahead of time due to a lack of ranked competitors and major names or mocking opinions that differ from their own, the set that doesn’t seem to like anything about the UFC were out in droves.
